Lovely, with a handmade touch. Beautiful classic blue and white, lid fits snugly and it holds heat well. Took one star off because the lotus painting is a little different from the close-up shot — but they do say every piece is hand-painted, so I get it. Still a gorgeous gaiwan for the price.

How each piece is made
Every piece begins in Jingdezhen
Different pieces are made in different ways. Where we have confirmed how a piece was formed and decorated, we say so on its page — and we never guess.
I.Forming
A piece may be wheel-thrown, press-moulded or slip-cast. Where we know the method, it is identified on the product page.
II.Decorating
Our collection includes hand painting, carved relief, reactive glaze and other finishes. We only describe a piece as hand-painted when it is.
III.Firing & Selection
The kiln gives each glaze its final colour and character. Natural variations are explained wherever possible on the product page.

Double-boxed, shock-proof packaging and a fragile-goods express line carry each piece safely across oceans. Orders leave Jingdezhen within 1–3 business days and ship worldwide with tracking; anything that arrives broken is refunded in full.

My dad's new favorite. Bought this for my father who's been doing gongfu cha for decades, and he's picky. He said the crackle glaze is gorgeous and the pour is clean with no drips. The three different glazes are a classy touch. Packaging was really solid — arrived all the way to the UK in one piece.
Looks way more expensive than it is. The mix of wood and ceramic beads is really elegant, and it stacks beautifully with my watch. Got several compliments the first day I wore it. Nice weight to it, feels solid, not cheap.
